What is Metro Turning Point Centre?
Metro Turning Point Centre is a facility of Saint Leonard’s Society of Nova Scotia. Programs and services support people over 16 experiencing homelessness. Metro Turning Point Centre offers care from crisis back to community.

Individuals living on the streets have complex health, social, communication and behavioral difficulties. Believing strongly in the dignity and self worth of each individual, our primary aim is to facilitate new beginnings and next steps in their recovery journeys. Our objective is to rejuvenate positive and healthy aspects of each person that may have clouded over due to chronic social, mental, and/or physical problems.

Individual case management helps people with a number of life issues simultaneously. Our services are woven together and carried out by professional, experienced, and caring staff who emphasize congruency, immediacy, and consistency. A person’s emotional state, readiness, motivation and other intrinsic factors are considered. Strengths are nurtured to build new skills.

Metro Turning Point Centre seeks to help all who enter here experience dignity and respect

as they unlock their potential, achieve progress, and increase their prosperity.
